First, download the setup file, unzip it and run it on the new PC.
After installation you will be asked if you want to start TrunCAD20XX; please deny this for now.

2. Transfer data and settings:

Then start TrunCAD 20XX on the original PC and click on the “Help” tab and then on “Hotline.zip”.
Then open the Hotline.zip with a double click and copy the contents directly into the installation directory of the new PC.
(Installation on new PC must be available)

 Copy files from Hotline.zip.

The files must be copied to the installation directory of the new installation.
The default installation directory is: C:\Software\TrunCAD20XX

Please copy the CNC output layout contained in the Hotline.zip with the file extension *.tccnc into the folder
C:\Software\TrunCAD20XX\tcCNC
(If you control a CNC machine)

Furthermore, if you have customized the library elements and/or textures and material schemes in your previous installation, you should copy the following folders from the old installation and copy them into the C:\Software\TrunCAD20XX folder of the new installation:

C:\Software\TrunCAD20XX\Bib;

C:\Software\TrunCAD20XX\Texture;

C:\Software\TrunCAD20XX\Material Schema

When You are using a DXF Layout please also copy the Folder:
C:\Software\TrunCAD20XX\tcCNC

Please also copy any drawings that may have been stored in the installation folder of the old version if you need them in the new installation.

5. Use of a TrunCAD20XX license on multiple computers:

The parallel use of a regular TrunCAD20XX license on multiple computers is not possible; this functionality is reserved for network licenses.

However, it is possible to use a regular license on different computers one after the other. How this works is described below:

Since parallel use on multiple computers with a regular license is not possible if the license is to be used on another computer,

These must always be logged out beforehand from the respective computer on which the license was active.

The deactivation process is identical to the description of deactivation in point 3.

If the installation on the PC on which TrunCAD20XX is to be used afterwards has already been activated,
You can then click on “Reactivate” when starting TrunCAD20XX to reactivate the installation.
It is then not necessary to enter the serial number again.
Then please click “Next” twice to complete the reactivation.

There will then be a message indicating whether the process was completed successfully.

This is how you always proceed if you want to switch between two TrunCAD20XX installations using the same license.
